We use a UKMail (Business Post) courier service. Items are sent on a 24 hour service only so they will arrive at your destination the day after they leave us. We aim to hold large stocks so not to disappoint our customers and avoid those irritating delays. We believe internet shopping should be quick, efficient and cost effective.
However we do require a signed receipt for delivery if no one is available to sign after a few attempts our couriers will return the item to us. You may nominate a neighbour or other special instructions to help if no one is available, and this is part of our checkout process and you can fill in any special instructions. Our courier will then attempt 1 additional delivery if no one is available then a card will be left with further instruction. Aborted and non collected deliveries may be charged for, so please ensure persons are present to accept delivery. Please email us if you have any concerns.
We cannot be held responsible if items are delayed under circumstances beyond our control.
UK Shipping
We reserve the right to charge additional postage for UK destinations that fall outside out standard shipping zone. These are typically Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of man, Isle of Wight and certain Scottish postal regions.
You will advised if any additional costs are incurred prior to dispatch.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock (quite rare, but it does happen), we will place a back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. We have a stock indicator on each product that shows stock status.
Returns Policy
Returns are only accepted with a valid return number and our prior consent; the goods must be unused, undamaged and fully re-marketable. Please contact us if you need a return number. There will be a surcharge of £6 per item for administration, checking and re-stocking. If items are exchanged for any reason beyond our control all shipping costs will be met by the customer.
Cancellation
We know that sometimes you may want to cancel your order and we'd like to make it as easy as possible. If you are not happy with any purchase for any reason, you can return it, and we will replace or refund it immediately. This does not affect your statutory rights. Lime Tree World Ltd does not offer a free return service unless the goods are faulty or sent out incorrectly, in which case we will refund the postage on receipt of the parcel. We aim to process cancellations within days of receiving the goods.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK 17.5% VAT is added.
Those who access this site from other locations are responsible for compliance with their local laws and taxes/reclaim as applicable.
